Happy Wednesday, book friends! I’ve been having a bit of a week, thanks to some general stress about work and the games journalism industry in general.
Although the work week started off pretty meh, I did have a decent weekend with lots of reading time! I am very much loving not having the farmer’s market every Saturday — the weekend feels so long with two whole days in it again.
Anyway, let’s dive on in to the updates for the week!
Recent Reads
Nada. I spent much of the weekend playing Whimel Academy and pretending to be at magic school.
Then I moved into playing Potionomics: Masterwork Edition for Bonus Action. After guiding up some games that are less in my wheelhouse, I got a bit carried away getting to be a magical person in a cozy world again — twice.
Current Reads
Still working my way through The Shadow Cabinet and The Astrology Advantage* so no major updates there.
I’m honestly a good chunk of the way into The Shadow Cabinet but it’s a bit longer than many of the books I read these days, so it feels like slow going.
