As a photographer, I know very well how overwhelming the social media landscape is these days. I am Maurice Jager, and I’m recovering from S.O.S — Social Overwhelm Syndrome.

As a photographer you have so many opportunities to market yourself with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and what not. The question you should ask yourself is whether all these platforms are actually worth marketing to.

LinkedIn for Photographers

I’m a headshot photographer mostly, and my work is used a lot on LinkedIn, and as such LinkedIn is a natural habitat for me to build a business, but it can be a tough thing to figure out.

I’ve received numerous emails and questions on social media from photographers on what I’m doing to build my business on LinkedIn, especially since I don’t make a secret of getting the majority of my business through the this particular platform.

LinkedIn is the platform to develop new client relationships and you’ll learn how to take charge of your photography business by taking advantage of the massive opportunity that LinkedIn offers you by getting in front of the right people that actually need your service.

LinkedIn can become overwhelming quickly. It is more or less the same platform as any other, but it has its quirks. I actually mean this in a very positive way. LinkedIn offers opportunities other platforms don’t.

Recently, I’ve teamed up with content creation expert John DeMato and created the most extensive LinkedIn training for photographers. With over 6 hours of explainer videos and written content to help you as a photographer to take advantage of everything LinkedIn has to offer.
