Musings on Tupperware

This is not an answer. This is a cry for help.

How many times have you been on a guagua and the person next to you whips open a tupperware with a full bandera and three guineos? Or wandered around your host family’s kitchen at a loss to find any kind of food, but at least there’s a cupboard full of tupperware? Watched a fight break out during lunch when one student forgets their own tupperware and desperately tries to borrow someone else’s?

I don’t know about y’all, but that happens all the time.

So here’s the question: why are tupperware everywhere… except the fridge?

How many times have you opened the fridge and seen an open salami? A half cut cucumber? A plate covering a plate of someone’s lunch?

I am at a loss. Please help. Reach out to your favorite doña and ask her what is up with the tupperware.

Thank you for your time.
