Heart Stealer: Kang Hoon Little Women
His gentle side charms Kdrama fans
Little Women is a Korean adaptation of a novel by Louisa May Alcott of the same name. The story is about three sisters' struggles while facing the Korean richest families. The first daughter, Oh In Ju receives an abundant amount of stolen money from her passing friend, Hwa Young. The second daughter, Oh In Kyung is a reporter who investigates the background of a strong candidate for South Korean Mayor, Park Jae Sang. The last daughter, Oh In Hye is the youngest sister who is negatively influenced by Park Jae Sang’s family.
All of the sisters are living in the poor condition. Therefore, Oh In Ju wants to use the stolen money given by her passing friend to buy an apartment. Meanwhile, Oh In Kyung wants to stay as they are and reveals Park Jae Sang’s true color to the public. Oh In Kyung does her individual investigation with the help of her childhood friend, Kang Hoon. Kang Hoon is played by Ha Jong Ho.
Although he doesn’t get many scenes in Little Women, he gives a strong impression on the viewers' hearts. He is described as a submissive man who likes to do gardening and cooking. However, he shows his feelings by being at In Kyung's side during happy and sad times. His presence screams feminine energy as he nurtures, and is patient with In Kyung.
His compatibility with Oh In Kyung is off the charts. Oh In Kyung who has masculine energy matches well with Kang Hoon who possesses feminine energy. Although they don’t do a lot of romantic scenes, we can feel Kang Hoon's tenderness whenever he looks at In Kyung. He is well-built, fair-skinned, and well-groomed making the viewers jealous of Oh In Kyung. They want to have their own Kang Hoons too!
