Will the REAL Kim Kardashian please stand up?!

Kim Kardashian is considered to be iconic. However, let’s all take a step back and remember how she even got here……….

Yes! That is Kim in her sex tape with ex boyfriend Ray J. Thanks to her GENUIS ex-boyfriend, without his filiming, she would have never been relevant. I did say relevant because when we all think of Kim Kardashian, we all first think about this sex tape. The way she is considered to be iconic in the feminist world is beyond me. I sit here puzzeled every single time she gets praised for anything she does. Let’s be real.. what does she really even do? Oh Yeah, I forgot.. she takes selfies and makes a ridicoulous book out of it.

She recently got backlash again for her nude selfie that was posted on her Instagram. Everyone already felt some type of way about her “breaking the internet”, but I think this one topped them all.

Apparently this picture was considered to be her post- pregnancy body after her recent second birth. Many women were digusted because REALISTICALLY after 13 weeks of giving birth, no mother looks like this. After receiving the backlash it did, Kim took to twitter to express how funny and flattered she was that everyone thought this was her recent body figure. As I was reading all the madness behind this, all I could think of was how Kim Kardashian is not iconic, but a docile body. Kim Kardashian has never done anything feminist, instead she is reenforcing an unattainable standard. This unattainable standard is where a women needs to have tons of money, a fake curvaceous body, and an airhead mind. Don’t get me wrong, I am all for getting your money where you can; however, in a respectable thoughtful manner. Kim Kardashian has sadly become the face of young women today, which is very terrifying. All I ever hear young women say is how they want to be her, look like her, and have her body.

This makes my heart cringe because again what has she ever done to make women feel proud to be women. Kim Kardashian is a robot. Her mother Kris micro- manages everything she does, therefore anything Kris signs Kim up for, she has to do. It doesn’t matter if she doesn’t like it, she moves like a machine. She has been made into a stylistic icon due to her husband. However, where is the REAL Kim? She is too busy holding the standard of being that woman that no one will ever be but wants to be so bad.

Olivier Rousteing the famous desinger of Balmain, recently held his fashion show in Paris. During his fashion show, you see these models including Kendall Jenner, walk out in Rousteing’s pieces. Not only were the pieces beautiful, but rather strange. They were strange because every single model had on a fake waist to make them look as though they had a curvaceous body. I could not wrap my head around this idea of it being revolved around Kim. She already is misleading to all young woman with all she has done to herself, but now has made it more confusing. First, models have to be skinny with no waist, now models are supposed to be skinny with a fake waist?! What kind of concept is this? Young women already beat themselves up for not being able to live up to social standards or even more so Kim’s standards, but why have a fashion show that reflects the opposite? I cannot stand Kim Kardashian because she speaks on being a real woman who encourages other woman to be themselves. She sits there and says she tells women to love themselves for who they truly are. How can anyone take this advice, when the person giving it, is technically not really herself. She talks about empowering women but backlashes when society does not agree with what she does.

This simply shows that Kim Kardashian does not practice what she preaches and it is sad. She is a very big influence but does not use her ability to do better. Instead, she rather capitalize on every opportunity she gets. She has capitilized on every young woman with her Kim Kardashian: Hollywood game. She knows for a fact that all these young woman cannot afford her lifestyle let alone live it. So why not invent a game that makes you feel as though you are her best friend and are truly living her lifestyle. It is completely absurd! These young women get brain washed and addicted to a fake reality that needs to stop. I hope that these young women open their eyes and start admiring women that truly are iconic for the work they have done for humanity. Those are the women that should be honored and valued. Not these celebrities that are docile bodies that cannot even think for themselves. Kim KarTRASHian that’s who she really is.
