A Look at the Hurdles Facing India’s Armed Forces
The operational terrain of the Indian military is quite complex, and as I prepare to write about an organization that I have studied with both respect and curiosity for many years, I realize this. Through its rich history, it is at a crossroads and faces challenges as diverse as the land it guards. These challenges are not limited to heroic tales and major events, despite their significance. It signifies your readiness to face and overcome obstacles, regardless of their subtlety or difficulty.
Balancing Two Issues: “The Stallion and the Dragon”
Among the most important and, to be honest, most difficult obstacles I have encountered is the ongoing danger of a war on two fronts. Pakistan is a nation with whom we have had tumultuous ties over our past; therefore, we must stay on high alert at all times. Although policies could change, the threat of state-sponsored terrorism still haunts the people. The Line of Control is still hotly debated.
