The important human values you think humans should possess
Well, you’re thinking, there she goes saying the same thing others say about values like loyalty, honest, faithful, kindliness, etc. But sadly yes I would definitely talk about values but not about just these values mentioned. To me, values are something that you should show towards every living thing not just humans, don’t you think?
Many of us think following different virtues and values means they are a good person but I think otherwise, values definitely discipline your life with a proper way of living but it also counts only if you display and treat everyone and everything with proper values.
Highly paid jobs, expensive clothes, and accessories, BMW car these things doesn’t mean you can treat a poor little puppy in the street like trash, or a homeless kitten as a nuisance, every living thing deserves love and respect. Rich, poor, beautiful, ugly these terms are useless in front of those beautiful creatures, to them if you show them love you receive it double the amount from them.
All animals don’t need a Gucci bag or Chanel perfume, they just need love and care and a little food if you’re kind enough to provide. Is it too much for them to expect that from us, While I was walking home from the shop I saw old women sit in front of a closed shop with a packet of the biscuit she looked as though she hadn’t eaten for days and a dog came near her sniffing the biscuits immediately she took out all the biscuits and placed it before the dog? There she didn’t even eat anything but still gave it to the dog few weeks passed and I was coming back from my college and I dropped by the same shop to buy some snacks and what I saw there nearly broke me, someone threw “Varkey” biscuit to him and this cute little guy took it and went across the shop near a shadow area where that same old lady was sitting and put the biscuit in front of her. This is called love, care, and every single thing you call value or virtues.
Values don’t just apply to humans but even to animals and nobody teaches them our values and virtues but they follow it better than us, no offense but that’s the truth. They even do things that only please humans and show violence only when it’s needed but we on the other hand do everything out of impulse.
I personally think we should always take time and think before everything we do, we only do things which we feel to do and never think If it may hurt anyone around us including the animals. So everyone should just think and do what’s best for everyone and not just oneself that would be the best value a human would possess
Nevertheless, I learned a lot of lessons and values from animals that are really meaningful and thoughtful. These so-called values haven’t been taught to them by anyone but have a great value to what they do more than what we do.
● Never complain — There are many disabled animals like dogs with the leg not moving but still they sweep their legs on the road and just move on and not complain about it to everyone around like we humans do even for small things
● Not to be greedy — Animals are happy with whatever they have and they live with what they have happily and not going behind things that are beyond reach or which are not available but we, on the other hand, are too stubborn and greedy for things that are out of reach.
● Being true — Animals are always true to themselves and around them, nothing more nothing less which is totally opposite to us we pretend to please others.
To be honest I think they follow values like kindness, innocence, truthfulness, loyal way better than we humans. I think we should treat every living thing with respect and love. So in my opinion the best value a human can possess is to treat everyone with love and respect.
