Isn’t that ecstatic when you sing Gooooooood Mooooooorning, Maaaaaam” and “Thaaaaaaaank youuuuuuuu, Maaaaaaaam”one of the best music sang ever! BTW, Thanks for reading in the same tune.
“This class is the worst class”,“Class B is better than you” Isn’t that a biggest compliment?
Uff those silly rivalries and dushman though- between toppers, between teachers, between your class and the neighbour one..endless!
Remember? Those Pen fights, tic - tac - toe, Raja-Rani-Chor-Police [King-Queen-Thief-Police],Name-Place-Animal-Thing,Hand cricket,Rock Paper Scissors, Truth/Dare...Indeed a perfect remedies to cure boredom instantly.
From quick revisions in the exam hall to getting answer sheets signed by our parents, exams were the worrying task! The worst part would be writing answers for all the question that too without choices.
Funniest of funniest was:
° Spreading mystery stories and ghost stories of school campus.
° Doodling and day dreaming during classes!
° That +1 next to your name for talking non stop.
° The smaller your pencil , the cooler you were!
° Cracking jokes on each other in school ,and sometimes, even not understanding our own jokes.
°Running out in the corridor at the end of every period and not getting back until and unless your teacher chases you.
° Repeating yourself those complicated words before your turn comes. And guess what? All your efforts goes in vein as the bell rings.

“Ma’am, homework to kiya par copy lana bhool gaye” [Ma’am, I did my homework but, forgot to bring the notebook.]Biggest excuse ever! And then our teacher be like, “You don’t forget your lunchbox, then how can you forget your notebook?” Kuch bhi mathlab? I mean where’s the logic?

Ecstatic is when there is hushed mischief in between the periods - enjoying each other’s tiffin even before recess started!
And getting those bribes not write the names on the board. Just in case you didn’t know, I’m the “मौन - eater”, oh sorry, Monitor of the class [मौन - Silence].Scary but funny though!
While copying the homework in notes friend says “ye kya likha hai” (What have you written) and you’ll be like “jo samjh Aa rha hai likh le baki design bana de”(Write whatever you understand and draw design for the rest! ) Quiet cranky though!
Best platform to reveal your acting is in examination hall: Sign languages, Coughing, drinking water, making weird noises,What not? You all must have done these at least once, right? Oh I can’t forget this part, that repeatedly playing song inside my head when I try to remember the answer.
From looking at the watch continuously to find out the time left in physics class to taking a short nap while the teacher taught Organic chemistry, We’ve faced tough time though! Biggest of biggest torture was double periods! We’ve got Bio.
Doing physics homework in English period and getting caught by the teacher was considered as one of the biggest crime!
From dusting the duster on class door to Stealing small piece of chalks. We’ve grown so big!
Benches and desks were those that have witnessed us eating chocolates, chips, and completing homework during lectures.
Lunch Break was buffet for everyone that too if it is “Paneer Tikka Masala ”and “Aloo Paratha”, there comes the teamwork , and it’s 0.0001% chance that you’ll get your lunch back.
That 1% happiness when teasing your friend by telling “Yeh dekh teri best friend”( Look at your best friend) to the person (she/he) hates the most.
Remember those exhibitions? Making projects, models and handling them with extra care and feeling yourself to be a scientist on the road. Lol those match-box made sofa set!
Sitting on the last bench and having life discussions with friends as if the world is gonna end though when I think about those problems now, I ask myself, “really, you considered those problems?”
Arey wait!!That moment when you pretend to be interested in teachers’ life story as if he/she is going to present you an Oscar award!
Those lab classes no matter whether computer lab or chemistry lab we used to enjoy a lot, trying to play game or else mixing two liquids just to see jaadhu(Magic).

Hiding from teacher and sleeping in the class, sometimes, even in the 1st period and if caught, then giving a lame excuse, “sir, stomach ache”.
The shortest route: Going to restroom
The longest route: Way back to the classroom covering the entire perimeter of the campus twice.
The unforgettable task was to pack our bags before the last 10 minutes of the bell as if we were about to catch a flight!
The pride of being asked to get the submitted books from the staffroom or to distribute.
Those happy half days during exams.Light weight bags and freedom from lunch bags.
The complex dilemma: When it is vacation you want to go to school, when it is school you want holidays.
The heartbreak: Either when your best friend leaving you out of dad’s transfer or when they leave you out of the class teacher’s desk transfer.
The craziest part: Running away madly at the sound of the bell for the games period and coming back from the ground late.
Those teachers nickname and their signature dialogues!
Rushing to the ground for P.T class to get a“ good volley ball”.
Printing letters from the book using erasers and oil applied on our hair, and considering yourself a magician!
Returning back from school with friends and complaining each other about teachers as if they ditched you. Sometimes, having some street food like pani puri, tikki, momos, etc… bill of those is paid collectively.
Taking a 3₹ pen from someone and never returning it.
Morning assemblies: “ONE ARM DISTANCE", “STAND AT EASE", “ATTENTION"
The blessed part: When you get more than five seconds on the microscope.
Those “short 20 minutes break” and “long 2 minutes” before the dismissal bell”.
The happiest news ever:“Maths sir is absent”!
“Mini party moment ” when other teachers come to your class to announce ‘Your teacher is absent today.’
Loosing your 100th pen after lending it to someone.
The silliest assumption: Putting your notebook at the bottom of the pile for correction so that you are free from top 10 scoldings.

Counting the number of students to find the paragraph you gotta read.
Setting time table, polishing shoes, and ironing your dress a night before school were a cumbersome task though!
Sitting at your assigned places only in the presence of the class teacher , who else knows the seating plan?
Days when you got fascinated by fancy pencil box and erasers of different kind, and demanding our parents for the same.
Playing Holi in the campus after completion of exams with handmade water bottle sprays. Didn’t you?
Forgetting to bring parent’s signature on exam paper, that too when you score less marks. And there comes your calligraphy skills! You would have done at least one. Didn’t you?

Hope this was relatable, and made you flip through the chronicles of your school life!

Those days have been just astounding, both sweet and sour memories!
How did it get over so soon?
