Over the last 14 months, YSYS has had the pleasure of designing, launching and managing FOUR FoundersDoor pre-accelerators, in partnership with One Tech as part of the London Mayor’s Digital Talent Programme.
- We’ve had 24 startups and 47 wonderful founders graduate from the four cohorts and join our community, some of whom have gone on to raise investment, win entrepreneurship and innovation awards and even launch careers in the tech ecosystem
- Delivered 37 workshops led by awesome domain experts and partner organisations, and facilitated countless mentoring sessions and introductions
- We’ve hosted 4 Office Hours with incredible VC partners including bp ventures, Atomico and more.
- We hosted 2 amazing live demos at Google for Startups and Microsoft Reactor
- We Developed and delivered two completely virtual programmes and demos during the COVID-19 pandemic.

It has been a rollercoaster ride!
We started off as a six-week pre-accelerator guiding underrepresented founders from ideation to validation but we have listened to the community and it is time to SCALE up the support.
FoundersDoor Library
In Q2 2021, we will be launching the FoundersDoor Library, an exclusive digital platform that houses educational material for underrepresented founders. There will be four pathways for guided learning, so that founders at any stage of their startup journey can get value from it.
Idea — Everything from proof of problem, concept and market validation
Product — practical tips for building an MVP or final product
Fundraising — all you need to know about raising investment from various sources
Go-to-market — everything from marketing & sales to operations and hiring
We co-create video lessons with domain experts which cover a diverse array of startup topics falling under these pathways, ranging from creating the perfect pitch deck to using no-code tools to develop prototypes.
The library will also host legal and financial templates, reading lists and other informative content. Our objective is to ensure that information is never a barrier to startup success.
