YSYS first-ever virtual happy hour in partnership with Nummy

Reminiscing about going to events, networking, and meeting new people? Working from home and physical distancing does not mean we need to socially disconnect. Community is more important than ever and the power of speaking with other like-minded individuals remains. We’re using technology to our advantage to collectively support each other through these unprecedented times.

This is why YSYS is hosting our first-ever virtual happy hour with Nummy on 23rd April at 6pm. We will be joined by our founder Deborah Okenla for an interactive Q&A on the current start-up climate and then jump straight in for virtual drinks and networking! So get cozy, grab your favorite beverage and join other fellow makers, developers, and investors for an hour of “social reconnecting”.

The event will be held virtually via Remo — a platform that allows us to network in smaller groups via different “tables” as if we were at an actual event! A link to our virtual venue will be emailed at least 24-hours before the happy hour begins. To take full advantage of the event, we encourage you to participate by turning on your webcam and microphones to best interact with other attendees.
