The WIN Tech Career Scholarship for Young Black Men
We are excited to announce YSYS latest (pilot) programme #TheTechCareer Scholarship in partnership with The Mayor of London, Jolt and The Workforce Integration Network, for young black men between the ages of 18–24 years old looking to start a career in tech.
Our new scholarship is a six-week programme, where we will work with 10 candidates to help them start a new career in tech and startups. The programme will include:
- A personalised career development plan
- One to one mentorship
- Group coaching sessions
- Specially designed training by Jolt
- Exclusive events with Niantic, FT and more
- Access to the YSYS online community
- Opportunity to meet some of London’s hottest start-ups created by young black founders such as Fanbytes, Trimit, Keakie and more
… and so much more
After the programme, we will support you over the course of 9 months to either secure a job in tech or further training. By the end of the programme, you will be more confident, equipped, skilled, connected, and ready to take your career to a new level.
Deadline for applications is midnight Friday 7th of February 2020. With the final selection interviews taking place between the 10th and 13th of February 2020.
