Brunch? Yes Please.
What is brunch? Many people will tell you it is the combination of lunch and breakfast and they are partly right. It is normally eaten in the late mornings and it is a very common thing for a Sunday. I think this is because Sundays are considered lazy days and there’s no rush to go anywhere. People have the time to sit, relax and enjoy the day. Unlike Mondays — but that is a story for another day.
Here in Nairobi the brunch culture has started catching up. Restaurants too are coming up with exciting packages to pull this crowd. One unique package we have seen is the bend and brunch offered by the Tribe hotel. Guests participate in an hour or two of Yoga then head on to brunch. Talk of working up an appetite. Nothing says a lazy Sunday better than mojitos and pitchers of sangria. Make it a ladies brunch at Sankara and enjoy wonderfully made food. The ambiance is amazing and the streams of live music playing will surely get you into that feel good Sunday mood.
