Getting the next million businesses onboard AppStore
With heavy moderation in AppStore Review Guidelines, it’s has become extremely difficult to submit apps at scale, so let’s see how we could get the next wave of apps without hurting the review guidelines

The last decade has seen an explosion in the number of websites and the next decade is going to be all mobile apps.
Just like everyone has a website today, sooner or later everyone will want to be on the app store and Google Play. The reason all businesses can have a website is because the Internet is unmoderated, meaning no one really determines if you could have your website and no one does quality control.
This fact means that you get to decide what you want to put up on the internet and it also means anybody with any level of development skills could put up a website and you’ll just be fine.
Ideally the exact same growth that websites had should happen in the mobile apps as well, and we have already seen a huge inflow in the number of mobile apps offerings in the market, ranging from drag and drop app builders to custom software development houses.
But unlike internet where there is no policing, app store is heavily moderated. So if you think about the next million businesses that are waiting to get on mobile, the picture is not all that rosy because of the huge barrier of entry into the app store.
Until last year, it was easy to deploy an app, but all of that changed when apple changed their review guidelines in favour of container apps compared to individual apps to reduce clutter in the app store.
I’m sure in the future Google Play is more likely to follow if they really had to cut down on the amount of spam that get into Google Play.
To bring onboard the next million businesses that would like to set up shop on app store and Google Play, mobile commerce platforms are the way to go or in Apple’s words container apps are the solution for scaling up without the number of apps exploding.
That’s why we have built Zagl m-commerce platform, where you can set up your online store and can have all the benefits of having your own mobile app including push notifications.
