The new address
Starting today we are happy to announce that every shop listed on Zagl will have their short-url and a QR code. The QR code will be automatically generated when the shop is created and when the QR code is scanned:
- The customer will be automatically taken to your shop on Zagl
- If the user does not have Zagl installed on their mobile, then they will be taken to the Appstore/Google Play and after installation will be taken to your shop
- When the shop is opened by scanning the QR code, then the shop is added to the customer’s shopping mall automatically —
no typing, no searching
This code can be used for:
- sharing on social media along side your posts
- print media such as promotional materials including the menu and flyers
- bills and delivery dockets
This will encourage the users to scan and will ease in the process of getting your customers to your shop on Zagl. This works well for desktop and print media, where the customer can scan the code with their mobile phones.
What if the customer is already on Mobile?
That’s where the ‘Short URL’ comes in handy. So while sharing it on social media or your website, always use both the QR code and the short link, such that the user can directly click on the link instead of scanning the code.
For example, if you share the code on Whatsapp, then the user cannot possibly scan as they are looking at it on their mobile already. So clicking on the link would be easy and logical.
