Zapper Product Update #17: NFT Medias, Top Tokens, and new integrations
Things move quickly in web3. To help our community stay on top of the latest developments at Zapper, we share regular product updates that recap Zapper’s newest features, app integrations, and upcoming initiatives.

The year is coming to an end, and what an amazing year of building it was for us!
We prepared a little journey for you to recall how far we’ve come together. When we’re focused on the everyday building and improving, oftentimes we miss how much it was already done.

In November’s product update we covered the new activity graph for NFT floor prices, support token holder metrics on Fantom, support for optimism bridged NFTs and other smol updates that make Zapper more solid, reliable and faster!
This month we cover another increased support of NFT Marketplaces, NFT Medias, top tokens page and new integrations!
Studio has integrated 9 dApps and updated other 6.

Zapper NFTs
Increased support of NFT Marketplaces
We integrated Blur, a NFT Marketplace, and we also support OpenSea on Arbitrum and Optimism. So now, you will be able to see all your NFTs and transactions made on Blur and Opensea on Zapper!
Here is the complete list of NFT marketplaces we support at the moment:
- On Ethereum: OpenSea, LooksRare, Blur, X2Y2 and Gem.
- On Optimism: OpenSea and Quix.
- On Arbitrum: OpenSea and Trove.
Support for NFT medias
We’re so pumped that our most recent update is that Zapper is supporting different NFT media like 3D models (+AR), html and audio tracks (hellow music NFTs)! The time has arrived, which now you can not only see but also interact with the content of the NFT on Zapper.

Report Collection button
Besides the bug improvements, now you can also find the “report collection” option for NFT collection on mobile.

Studio and API
Support for token holder metrics on BSC.
A few months back, we launched the ability to see “owners” of a given token on Ethereum, and have been steadily adding more and more networks.
We have now added support on the BSC chain for token ownership! Now you can see owners for all tokens in BSC, and filter those lists for only users you follow on Zapper!
Top token page
Now you can see top tokens on the swap pages. This updated page allows users to see token price changes in one place, ahead of swapping them.
And you are also able to see the prices for tokens you hold in your portfolio or have favourited (starred) in one place.
Update of our balance snapshots
This is an update that you can’t see but you definitely can experience! We updated our backend model and Zapper is processing balances super fast now!

Twitter spaces
Last month we kicked off our twitter spaces, to bring interesting people and projects together to discuss relevant topics that our community is looking to learn about.
This month we had Friends with Benefits and Coordinape chatting with Oops about How to Find a community to call yours
And to close the year magically we had yesterday Seb, with a special AMA for the year.
Zapper Hang Outs on Discord
Keep your eyes and ears open, because we are now running every now and then Zapper Hang Outs in Discord, where we bring one of our team mates to hang out with our community. We want our community to get to know more of our team members on a personal level. And we might even bring you on stage to have some chat with them!

IRL Events led by the community
We love to support IRL events where the Zapper community can get together and purple pill their friends! If this is something you would like to make it happen where you live, reach out to us here.
Self-Custody Chat and Security Quiz
This month we talked about self-custody and security with Ledger on Discord. During that time we hosted the Ledger team for an informative hour long conversation about security best practices, and information on hardware wallets. A few days later we hosted a multiple choice security quiz that tested people on their knowledge. Ledger gifted 10 Nano S Plus hardware wallets to participants of the call and the quiz.
Emoji Design Contest
Zapper hosted an emoji design contest this month that saw some excellent, and hilarious creations from the community. They were great, and have now been added as emojis within Zapper’s Discord server!
What’s Next?
2022 was a blast! This year we saw a big evolution of Zapper from being only a portfolio tracker to a complete social web3 explorer.
