Things move quickly in web3. To help our community stay on top of the latest developments at Zapper, we share regular product updates that recap Zapper’s newest features, protocol integrations, and upcoming initiatives.

This update digs into some of the features of our new page for NFT Collections and reflects on the end of Season 2 of dashboard gamification and Zapperverse NFTs. As always, we catch up with what is happening in Discord and Zapper Learn, and we recap new protocol and network integrations.

Introducing new Collection Page for NFTs

This year, a big focus for Zapper is enhancing the NFT features we offer through our dashboard. Recently we launched a Collection Page that aims to give you easy access to information about NFT you own and the collections they belong to. The Collections Page provides important context on collections such as floor price, and lets you easily view pieces you own from a given collection.

We are looking forward to building on this new page by making more context & stats visible and by shipping even more NFT features in the coming months. Stay tuned!

Season 2 of the Zapperverse Comes to a Close

Questing for Season 2 of Zapper NFTs and dashboard questing ended on January 1. You can no longer gain XP or Volts for actions you take on the dashboard, and as of January 15, you are no longer able to sync Volts. Users who have synced Volts and/or who purchase the appropriate Zapper NFTs on secondary marketplaces can continue to craft NFTs. Please refer to our Season 2 FAQs if you need a reminder on how crafting works.

A big thank you goes out to everyone who participated in Season 2. We saw a tremendous increase in the number of community members using our dashboard during the season, and this number was also up significantly from the increase we experienced in Season 1.

We are excited to turn our attention to planning Season 3, which will look much different than previous seasons. With the next season, we are eager to respond to the thoughtful feedback the community gave us during Season 2, particularly issues around accessibility and affordability. We also want to make sure the Zapperverse is evolving along with current trends in web3, and our high-level concept for Season 3 takes both of these aspects into consideration.

Community Calls and Core Team AMAs

Community Calls continue to be a highlight for our core team. The next one takes place this Friday, January 21, at 1:00PM EST (6:00PM UTC) in Discord. Join us to talk about what’s new at Zapper and to be introduced to a few of our newest terminators!

This year, we will also continue hosting Core Team AMAs, which have been a fun way for our community to connect with core team members and learn a bit more about how Zapper works.

Protocol Integrations

Our team is always working on integrating new protocols for users to view on their dashboard. There are quite a few new integrations to recap, and one new network integration to celebrate. We are pleased to share that Moonriver is the latest network to debut on Zapper!

In addition to providing support for Moonriver, we also integrated Moonriver protocol RomeDAO.

On Ethereum, we integrated Vader Protocol, [Redacted] Cartel, Ondo finance, and LooksRare; on Fantom, we now support Hector DAO; on Arbitrum, we support GMX; and on Avalanche, we support PoolTogether.

Optimism Exchange

In addition to support for Moonriver Network and the ten protocols listed above, users are now able to exchange tokens on the Optimism network from our “Exchange” page. More than 100 tokens are currently supported, with more to come.

Zapper Learn

Last week, our Community Wizard Oops wrote a Learn article about how web3’s Tipping Economy can be used to build healthy communities. This article also shares a bit about the web3-native tools Zapper uses to reward and recognize community members who are contributing to the Zapper community in a positive way.

This week’s Learn article defines Layer 2 networks and explains why they are such an important topic of discussion in web3 right now. Take a look if it would be helpful to have this term contextualized!

What’s Next

Sometimes the leaks at the end of our product update are long-winded. Sometimes they are vague hints at the future. This alpha leak is neither.

The Zapper Mobile App is imminent. Look for it before the end of Q1.
