Are you a beginner when comes to make up? Makeup may do magical things that can enhance your beauty and boost your confidence. It cannot be denied that it can be a daunting task to do unless you can put your makeup on like a pro. If you are one of those girls waiting to try something new, here are some makeup tips for the beginners.

1.Complexion

Firstly, you need to know about your skin complexion. What you want to cover up? What colour shade of skin do you have? It is the first step you need to know before choosing what makeup and moisturizer that will suit you.

2. Moisturize

The less makeup you wear, the better it is for your skin. Apply some moisturizer to your skin. It helps your skin from getting too oily during the day and moisturizes any dry patches on your skin. Apply it by putting a few spots on your fingers, then blend it and working the spots outwards from the center in all directions.

3. Choose Your Shade

Choose the right shade of your foundation so that it matches your skin tone. You can brush a little on your jawline and if it blends in, it’s perfect for you. If not, try looking for a lighter shade or darker. Finding the right shade of foundation is very important as it evens out your skin tone so you do not look splotchy.

4. Contouring

Contouring will really brighten up all of your features. You can apply it with a bronzer to make your face have a great glow. Not a pro at contouring? No worries as there are plenty of Youtube makeup tutorials which you can watch and learn.

5. Concealer

Concealer should never be lighter than one shade away from your skin tone. Put a little under the eyes where under-eye circles are darkest. Also add to other blemishes which are not covered by foundation and blend it.

6. Eyeshadow

For a beginner, you can try a single neutral shade. A natural palette is a good option if you want to apply more than one eyeshadow colour. The shadow should go from your lash line to just beyond the inner crease and from there it fades upward toward the bone.

7. Blusher

Smile as you apply blush to the apple of your cheeks. So you can see clearly where the apples are.

8. Lipstick

Pucker you lips and apply your lipstick to the center of your upper and lower lip. Use the finger to blend outwards.

Check your makeup whether it is all blended in beautifully or not. Then, you’re done! Don’t over-do your makeup. Sometimes less is more. Go for a neutral look and work your way to more makeup you wish. Be your own kind of beautiful.
