PESTLE & MORTAR CLOTHING : SUMMER 2016
Established in 2010, domestic streetwear brand Pestle & Mortar (P&M) clothing is no stranger to many in achieving many key milestones and accolades over the years. P&M clothing is more than just a clothing brand; it also echoes personal lifestyles, cultures and identities of our beautiful local natives.
The summer collection highlights the new take on fresh and fun colours (exactly what we need to celebrate our warm sunny weather!). P&M clothing fans can look forward to new sub-collections that maintains the brand’s strong and loud streetwear image but with a refreshing twist:
Dime Tee
This graphic seeks to deliver the message that we shouldn’t be chasing dimes, we should be chasing dreams instead.
Free-falling 6-panel cap
A coconut tree embroidered in the center of the 6-panel cap, signifying a true and unmistaken symbol of the tropics that is a coconut departing from whence it came.
Leading the Pack Tee
The logo represents the strength, freedom and leadership of elephants ; making a statement that humans should aspire to be like them instead of riding them. This simple yet sturdy T-shirt (Black) has the logo printed in front and back.
Native Short Sleeve Shirt
This formal-fitting shirt reminds us the two constants the world forgets — life and death. This multicoloured shirt is available in autumn brown and lemon green.
Eat Local Ladies Crop Top
Bringing back some sweet childhood treats, the playful graphic of a local fave — an ice-cream potong — illustrates three tasty flavors such as red bean, corn and yam combined into one popsicle. This crop top sure is a nostalgic taste for every Malaysian!

Originally custom-made in cotton, the P&M team has newly improved these logo pocket tees to provide optimal comfort and style. By straying from the usual cotton to Rayon Poly Knit fabric from Japan, breathability and comfortability to the next level in the tropical weather. Three additional colours to the collection ; namely Heather Orange, Heather Blue and Heather Green ; are set to be sure-fire streetwear winners.
