Couple weeks ago, I participated a corporate one day Hackathon.

Unlike 2+days ones I participated earlier. It only had less than 8 hrs. Basically it is more like a mission impossible for “life work balance” digital agencies.

Well, the result? We did not win. But I did learnt something after the event.

1. For Start-ups, the most important thing is deliver your MVP before your resources burning out. Same thing apply to projects, digital agencies need to deliver before budget/deadline running dry.

2. After all, it’s all about result. No matter how great your ideas are. If you can’t deliver before timeout, then your idea sucks.

3. Be realistic, as a developer we are always up for challenge. On the other hand, Clients really need to understand, that is “if there is a budget there is a limit of thing developers can do”. WOW moment not gonna happen every time. Over stretching costs company not just money but good teams of talents.

so the conclusion of the event: Its a result driven world, and a realistic world.
