Introducing Safes, one of the new elements from the new look of the BNB Zebec Application! The app brings the continuous settlement and streaming payments functionality onto the BNB Chain. A part of the new look on the app is Safes!

Safes are based on the multisig treasury management system, which provides access to funds held by the safe, requiring a specific number of users to sign off before making a transaction. [Psst–you can learn more on multisig here: link.]

Without further ado, let’s get started with navigating Safes.

How to Access Safes on the BNB Zebec App

Here’s how you can get the first look at the new BNB Zebec App:

  1. Go to https://bnb.zebec.io/
  2. Install any of the supported wallets: MetaMask, Phantom or Coinbase Wallet
  3. Create an account and log in using that specific wallet
  4. Once logged in, you will be taken to the app’s main Dashboard. You can see the total amount of assets in all your Safes on the left side of the Dashboard.
  5. Click on “Accounts” from the top bar once you are in the Dashboard.
  6. Select ‘Safes’ to see the safe lists, and total calculateable balance in the safe and to create a new safe.

Note: To stream, users need to deposit a balance to a safe asset and then transfer it to safe streaming assets. This balance can be streamed or made through instant transfer. This can also be transferred back to safe assets. Streaming cannot be made through safe assets.

Note: The Safes detailed view allows users to access -

  • Safe Lists to see the overall balance deposited in the respective safes.
  • Archived Safes to view archived safes. Users can archive and unarchive safes, which will be displayed on safes lists.
  • Create New Safe to make your very own safe with multisig features

How to Create a New Safe on the BNB Zebec App

  1. Once you are in the Safes section, click on “Create New Safe” on the top right.
  2. After that, you will add the “owners” of the safe. You will need more than one owner for the treasury.

Note: These “owners” will be able to sign off on any transactions from that safe. No transactions can happen without the authorization (or signature) of the required number of owners.

  1. Once you have the owners with their respective wallet accounts, you will click Continue and confirm the details of the safe.
  2. You will pay a very small fee to create the safe.
  3. From the safe, you will be able to stream or send assets instantly, deposit or withdraw tokens, as well as keep track of all the transactions and tokens available in your treasury.

How to Deposit/Withdraw from Safes on the BNB Zebec App

  1. In the Safes Account tab, you can find the Deposit/Withdraw space on the left bottom corner.
  2. Choose a wallet you want to use.
  3. Select the token to be deposited/withdrawn and the amount.
  4. Hit Deposit or Withdraw! Easy!

Streaming Safe Assets on the BNB Zebec App

Previously, streaming could only be done by transferring assets to the Zebec Wallet. Now, users can directly stream assets to a specific safe. The user may move Safe Assets for Safe to Safe Streaming.

How to Continuously Stream Assets from Safes on the BNB Zebec App

  1. Go to the “Send Stream” button in the right corner.

  3. Click on the “Continuous Stream” tab.
  4. Fill out the transaction name, receiver’s address, the token amount, stream start and end date and time.
  5. You will have to “Enable stream rate” and “Enable cancellation” if you would like to change this once the transaction begins.
  6. Click “Send” and see the overview of the stream on the right side.

The Takeaway

Well, that’s it for our first part of the series! We’ll bring you some more how-to guides in the coming days.

Businesses, ecosystem partners, and institutions use Zebec Protocol to stream real-time, per-second payments to payees. By more efficiently leveraging the time value of money, Zebec makes money worth more.
