Zepoch Nodes will run Zebec Chain, revolutionizing financial infrastructure in both DeFi and TradFi.

Unlike many Web3 projects that only solve problems in Web3, Zebec Protocol solves problems in DeFi and traditional finance. It’s a Web3 project successfully applying blockchain technology to the real world.

Zebec’s tax-compliant instant payroll solution is backed by Web2 giants like VISA, and Zebec has acquired almost a dozen Web2 payment companies. In the six months since its launch, it became the biggest business-facing project on Solana, and is one of the few Web3 projects to be turning a profit from services, not speculation.

With Zepoch Nodes, Zebec is taking all of this to the next level

Web3 and Web2 use cases for Zepoch Nodes

Zebec is launching its own payment-focused L1 for continuous, high-throughput service, and Zepoch Nodes are key to that.

Zepoch Nodes sold now will grant the owner the right to be a validator on Zebec Chain, actin as a proof of identity. By holding a Zepoch, you will get access to special privileges and will be part of building essential payment infrastructure for the future. Zepochs keep the community foundational to Zebec Chain.

For Web2, Zepoch Nodes represent the first successful application of blockchain technology in a way that makes payments more efficient, not more complicated. For Web3 users, however, there are some special rewards even before the chain is live.

Let’s break down the use cases for Zepoch Nodes in Web3 and Web2

For Web3:

Holding a Zepoch Node will give Zepoch holders access to lucrative rewards, including:

  • A share in 20% of the revenue from Zebec Protocol once the chain is live
  • A 5% $USDT rebate for every purchase made with their referral code
  • Nitro rewards — between 5%-15% of the airdrop rewards of the people you successfully refer
  • Builder’s Airdrop: An airdrop of $ZBC and $USDT based on your Zebec points
  • A daily airdrop whose parameters are TBD.

They’ll also have the right to be a validator on the chain, which should pay around 4% — 7% returns. If they join Operation Horizon, there will be an opportunity to get governance rights by earning a Themis Gavel NFT.

Thus, Zepoch Nodes give you rewards both before and after Zebec Chain launches in 2023.

For Web2

Zepoch Nodes will have a huge impact on Web2 because they will run Zebec Chain.

Through Zepoch Nodes, Zebec Chain will provide advanced payroll solutions to Web2 companies. Those companies will be able to issue automated payment contracts that can be tailored to specific needs. Because workers and employees will be paid in real-time, not bi-monthly or monthly, they’ll be better able to leverage the time-value of their wages.

This gives companies another tool to attract and retain workers. Given the global shortage of labor, companies need more ways to attract talent, and giving employees more control of their money is one of the best ways to do that.

VISA is one of Zebec’s early partner and is working with the protocol to issue a debit card:

Working with VISA and other Web2 payment companies, Zebec will set up exclusive payment systems for companies that will benefit workers and employers.

There are countless other niche applications of continuous, real-time payments e.g. more efficient taxi payments and streaming services that charge by the minute or rather than a monthly subscription. But these are not possible without Zebec Chain and Zepoch Nodes.

Zebec Protocol isn’t able to provide all these applications currently because we are limited by Solana and BNB Chain. But Zebec Chain will be a high-throughput chain without outages so that the world will have a real-time blockchain payment system that it can rely on.

An Idea Whose Time Has Come

The market is ready for, and in need of, Zebec Chain and its services.

The global payments market is $40 trillion, and Zebec expects to capture about 2% of that. The world is moving to mobile-based payments, especially in Asia and Africa, where many people rely on blockchain apps, not banks. In southeast Asia alone, cashless payments are expected to increase by 109% for the next few years.

This means that when you get a Zepoch Node now, you are preparing Web3 for this growth. You’ll be helping to create financial infrastructure that can support many parts of the world.

30,000 Zepoch Nodes will be distributed, with the price increasing by 0.5% for every 50 that get sold. Getting in early not only makes you part of next-generation financial infrastructure, it will also maximize the value appreciation of your node.
