Our Zebra mascot has been out visiting some of London’s best Christmas sights! He’s even been taking some selfies! We’re rounding up our top 5 places to visit when you’re feeling festive in our capital.

No Christmas would be complete without a Christmas tree! Head to Trafalgar Square where you’ll find a huge Christmas tree, donated by the city of Oslo each year. It’s lit up spectacularly in early December. Each weekday evening and weekend afternoons there is carol singing beneath the tree.

Get your skates on at one of London’s ice rinks! Pretty ice rinks pop up at places like the Natural History Museum, Somerset House and Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland. If you’re more wobbly than a wonder on skates, fear not… Many rinks now have Ice Guides, trained ice skaters who can escort you and your group on the ice!

Gazing up at London’s Christmas lights is guaranteed to get you feeling festive. This year, Oxford Street is adorned with 1,778 decorations, 750,000 LED light bulbs, inspired by falling snowflakes. Carnaby Street is also sparkling this time of year including many of the smaller, surrounding roads.

Winter Wonderland is now in its 11th year in Hyde Park. The winter festival has become a landmark event for Londoners. With humble beginnings as an open-air Christmas market, Winter Wonderland has since grown into an extravaganza with ice skating, shows, roller coaster rides, street food stalls, festive bars and live music.

This time of year, braving the cold can take the edge off the excitement! How about staying in with a Christmas film? From Home Alone to Die Hard, there’s something for everyone. You could even get your car filled up by Zebra, while relaxing at home! Be ready to hit the Boxing Day sales or visit family with a full tank!
