While the chances of seeing a Zebra Van in London are extremely high, you might have to travel a little further to see our honorary animal namesake! So we’ve put together a list of the best places to see a real life Zebra in London and the South East. Perfect for an adventure this Easter Bank Holiday!

ZSL London Zoo — Regent’s Park

You don’t have to travel far to see a Zebra! ZSL London Zoo, located near Regents Park has a small dazzle. With lots of daily feeds and demonstrations, there’s now even a handy app to keep track of the Zoo’s events including the ability to schedule reminders!

Zebra fact: A group a Zebra is called a dazzle.

Paradise Wildlife Park — Hertfordshire

Typically 1h10m from London

From adventure playgrounds to farm yards and even a paddling pool, Paradise Wildlife Park has lots of family activities not normally found at a Zoo! There’s a challenging 18 hole crazy golf course for those who are feeling competitive and should you want to exhaust younger guests, there’s an indoor jungle gym with bouncy castles and slides. Even petrol heads are kept intrigued with a Speedway Museum on site!

Zebra fact: The stripes on a zebra are like fingerprints, no two patterns are alike.

Woburn Safari Park — Milton Keynes

Typically 1h30m

Offering a drive through Safari, you’ll take winding entry route through pastures of Bison, Zebra and Wild Horses. Then onto the panoramic scenery of the Road Safari, home to the herd of Ankole Cattle, Antelope, White Rhino and Ostrich. After which you’ll enter Giraffe Junction where a herd of Giraffe live happily alongside Addax, Somali Wild Ass and Scimitar Wild Oryx. The drive ends with a troop of cheeky monkeys! The monkeys rarely damage cars but there’s a bypass if you don’t want to risk primates prising parts from your car.

Zebra fact: No one really knows why a zebra has stripes; scientists have shown that it isn’t for camouflage or to make it difficult for predators to single out individual animals. So the reason remains a mystery!

From all of us at Zebra, we wish you an enjoyable Easter break. Please note, our delivery hours are 0900 until 2000 all Bank Holiday weekend. Don’t let the petrol station get in the way of your Easter plans, let Zebra take care of filling up your car!
