Pay-as-you-go

One way in which we offer flexible insurance to customers is through our pay-as-you-go insurance, which is designed to cover you just for the time that you’re on shift. Through integrations with our approved work providers’ platforms (including Deliveroo and Uber Eats), we’re able to offer you protection just for the time that you need it. That means that as soon as you stop working, your cover stops too.

If you’re looking to work part-time as a food delivery or courier driver, our pay-as-you-go cover means that you don’t have to spend the same amounts on your insurance as full-time workers. Instead you can get flexible cover that works around you, giving you the freedom to choose how, when and where you work.

Fully flexible insurance

However, we cannot offer you fully flexible insurance products if we cannot provide policies that suit are suitable for all types of work. We know our pay-as-you-go insurance isn’t right for everyone and we need to make sure that all of our customers can get a policy that’s right for them.

That’s why we also offer 30-day and annual policies, which are designed to be more cost-effective for you if you’re working longer hours. Scooter riders can get cover for their work and free time, all in one convenient 30-day or annual policy.

At Zego, we understand the flexibility of food delivery and courier work, and we know how your working hours can change at any point. That’s why we offer you the option to switch between our policies without any admin fees.
