A Million Pieces

My heart exploding into a million pieces,
Mirroring the stars in the sky.
Wish you were here to indulge my caprices,
And hold my soul together for a while.

I don’t need it daily, I don’t need it long,
Just having a weak day, I guess.
Please hold me close and sing me a song,
There’s nothing more left to express.

Tomorrow will come and again I’ll be whole
And be ready to take on the world.
But still shattered tonight is my desolate soul,
Please in your embrace keep it curled.
