The Cloud’s Tears Are So Beautiful Tonight

I wrote this poem on a Sunday night when I listened to that familiar pitter-patter on my roof. I watched nature create living paintings on my window; no matter how much I witness this event, I’m always inspired. I challenged myself not to write the obvious word to describe the type of weather you’ve seen me write about countless times. Let’s see how it goes.
