February is National Cancer Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness, unite against the prevalence of cancer, and take action to promote better care for everyone.

“The federal government estimates that nearly 2 million Americans were diagnosed with cancer (other than non-melanoma skin cancer) during 2023, and that more than 600,000 died from their disease.” — AACR

World Cancer Day 2024

World Cancer Day is a global initiative held on February 4. This year’s campaign theme, “Close the Care Gap,” has deeply resonated with our mantra here on Zenite.

So we’ve decided to help amplify the voice of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC).

“By raising worldwide awareness, improving education and catalysing personal, collective and government action, we are all working together to reimagine a world where millions of preventable cancer deaths are saved and access to life-saving cancer treatment and care is equitable for all — no matter who you are or where you live.”

In our pursuit of creating awareness and promoting change, we invite you to take part in our February writing challenge.
