Coming back to the topic that we will cover this time, it’s about the people who are as responsible as you for the success in your startup. It is your “team”.

As Gary Vaynerchuk said, an idol for so many budding Entrepreneurs like us,
Hiring is not the most important part; Firing is”.
It is easy to include people in your team, but it is difficult to tell them to leave when people stop working as efficiently as they used to do.

Here are a few key takeaways:

  1. If two out of three people are working, convince the third person to work, otherwise, get rid of the third person. Because investors invest in a TEAM, not just in an idea or a plan (they are important too though). EXECUTION is the most important thing in a startup and Execution depends on the Team.
  2. Keep people who you REALLY TRUST. You need a team because you cannot do everything alone.
  3. Be very CLEAR ABOUT EQUITIES and be sure of who is working.
  4. Don’t underestimate the Power of LinkedIn. Leverage it to find your ideal team.

You improve only when you work, learn and adapt. No one learns without mistakes. :)
