New Beginnings in Governance: First Batch of ZenlinkDAO Initial Governance Board Members Announced
On May 14, the Zenlink team announced the launch of ZenlinkDAO Bootstrapping Governance in an announcement made at the suggestion of the Zenlink Foundation.
After the announcement, the Zenlink Foundation received a large number of applications from the community, organizations and blockchain media. However, since the ZenlinkDAO Initial Governance Board plays a crucial role in guiding the governance of ZenlinkDAO, the following members will officially become part of the ZenlinkDAO Initial Governance Board after several in-depth discussions between the Zenlink Foundation and the applicants: Zenlink Foundation, PolkaWorld, Polkadot Ecology Research Institute, BlueMountain Labs, Gyro Finance, HappyBlock, SSSnodes, Digital Finance Group, ZBG Capital and crypto influencer Cao Yin.
You may notice that they are all from China, but it should be noted that the Zenlink Foundation has also received many applications from other regions, which are being communicated gradually and will be announced in due course as the second batch of ZenlinkDAO initial governance board members.
This also means that the Zenlink Guardian NFTs have been given their rightful place, and all ZenlinkDAO Governance Board members will receive a Zenlink Guardian NFT (not an Explorer NFT) as an identification as well as an entitlement credential.
During the initial governance phase of ZenlinkDAO, the above diverse governance board membership structure will be better able to drive the development of Zenlink. In the future, this board will participate in the governance of the Zenlink network, make decisions and dictate the DAO Treasury, and more importantly, together they will determine the path and gradual transition of ZenlinkDAO to become a fully decentralized organization.
