We are pleased to announce a partnership between Zenlink and Nomad. Nomad was the first bridging solution to deploy their contracts to Moonbeam and is one of our preferred bridges for bringing ERC-20 assets to Moonbeam. With Nomad, institutions and end-users alike will be able to send value and call data between the Ethereum and Moonbeam ecosystems. This allows Ethereum and other EVM chains’ ERC-20 tokens to be available on Moonbeam, and subsequently the entire Polkadot ecosystem via XCM.

As of today, Zenlink natively supports bridging Ethereum assets to the Moonbeam network via Nomad, giving the Moonbeam community a world-class, fast, secure, and low-cost cross-chain bridging experience between Moonbeam and Ethereum.

Users can quickly reach the Nomad bridge interface via the Bridge button in the Zenlink DEX to complete cross-chain asset transfers.

Zenlink has built the liquidity DeFi use case for assets bridged via Nomad, which users can check and participate in the Zenlink DEX DApp. To differentiate assets bridged from Ethereum via other bridges, users will see the “mad” prefix of their bridged tokens on Zenlink, so users should be careful to accurately differentiate these assets when participating in DeFi activities in Zenlink.

The token addresses for Nomad bridged tokens on Moonbeam are:

USDT (madUSDT): 0x8e70cd5b4ff3f62659049e74b6649c6603a0e594

USDC (madUSDC): 0x8f552a71efe5eefc207bf75485b356a0b3f01ec9

WETH (madWETH): 0x30d2a9f5fdf90ace8c17952cbb4ee48a55d916a7

WBTC (madWBTC): 0x1dc78acda13a8bc4408b207c9e48cdbc096d95e0

About Nomad

Nomad is a novel interoperability protocol designed to lower costs and increase the security of cross-chain messaging. By leveraging an optimistic mechanism, Nomad lets users send messages and bridge assets securely, with the assurances that anyone watching can flag fraud and protect the system. The main trade-off Nomad makes is in introducing a dispute window to settle fraud proofs.

Additionally, developers can use the Nomad SDK to build cross-chain applications (or xApps). More than just sending tokens, Nomad is a channel for passing data. Fundamentally, this enables developers to compose smart contract calls across chains. Imagine cross-chain lending or governance — bridging is just the start.

About Zenlink

Zenlink is an underlying cross-chain DEX protocol based on Polkadot and is committed to becoming the DEX composable hub of Polkadot. By accessing the ultimate, open, and universal cross-chain DEX protocol based on Substrate, Zenlink DEX Protocol enables all parachains to build DEX and achieve liquidity sharing in one click. Zenlink DEX Protocol includes Module, WASM, and EVM implementations, which are flexible and adaptable, allowing for customizable compositions and interoperability with different DeFi modules.

In addition, the Zenlink DEX Aggregator connects all DEX DApps on Polkadot and aggregates liquidity, providing a low slippage trading experience for users. Zenlink DEX Composable Hub enables developers to access the Zenlink DEX Module to build their own unique DEXs, forming a DEX composable hub for the Polkadot ecosystem. Currently, Zenlink has received 2 rounds of Web3 Foundation Grants and investments from well-known institutions such as Alameda Research, Hashkey, IOSG, OKEx Blockdream Ventures, and Hypersphere.
