Zentoshi 2020 Recap — What has been going on?
It’s the end of 2020 and time for a recap on the Zentoshi Project! We’ve been working hard amidst all the chaos from the pandemic, and while less vocal than other projects, Zentoshi is hitting the gate running with its testnet challenge! But more on that later, let’s see what 2020 had in store for the Zentoshi Project:
- Zentoshi completed its 50+ page business plan, detailing revenue forecasts, break even analysis, and fine tuning its business model to prepare for the future
- Zentoshi made it into the top 500 best global startups on Slingshot!
- Zentoshi met with international leaders such as Tzahi Kanza and networked to institutions across the globe
- Zentoshi designed it’s webpages for ZXLeague, CloudGSP, and SunnyNode
- Zentoshi launched SunnyNode and is currently at 50% capacity! (www.sunnynode.com)
- Zentoshi’s community rose from 200 to 530
- Zentoshi onboarded a senior CPA advisor to overview financial endeavors
- Zentoshi brought on a Chinese/Thai Ambassador “Maruay” for future endeavors and institutional partnerships
- Zentoshi is invited to submit a 1 year proposal for the NSF to apply for a government research grant
- Zentoshi completed its first stable release of its blockchain core
Why the radio silence for the last quarter?
As you know, we missed our launched date on when we wanted to go live with our blockchain. Needing to make a change, we decided to spend this time reviewing our operations and fine tuning every aspect of our approach. Sadly this took a while, there were many areas that as we delved into opening more unknowns. We discovered more questions than answers, and needed to spend this time resolving these new discoveries. Since then we have forecasted our costs, price points, margins, marketing approach, technology requirements, development cycle, and outlined our entire business into one large business plan document. This has guided us and helped clear the muddy waters.
Decentralized cloud computing on an enterprise scale is a complex idea, we’ve taken this year to understand its complexity and give it the due diligence that it deserved. Now we are ready to make a public appearance again, with a battle-hardened approach and superior vision. We now have a deeper understanding of where we stand in the market and what gap we solve. We are now focused and know that what we are building is not only viable but profitable.

2021 will be a year of much progress. Utilizing this testnet contest as an opportunity to discover exploits and vulnerabilities, Zentoshi plans on creating a bug list to fix in the upcoming weeks, and go live in early 2021 with the currency (yes actually go live, come get excited and come get your coins).
Zentoshi has started seeking funding from interested investors, and has been networking across to meet with industry leaders. DeCloud technology will begin its development! With the development outlined and development cycle written, Zentoshi will begin work on constructing it’s network. Utilizing SunnyNode’s existing hardware to build a basic DeCloud, and then expanding this out to it’s operators.
