Here’s a question: Do you think Americans can switch off fossil fuels in a way that most people are happy about?

Here’s another question: Do you yourself have a plan for switching off fossil fuels that you are happy about?

Let’s be candid.

We’re not going to switch off fossil fuels if we can’t come up with a plan that a lot of people like.

Is there a process for coming up with such a plan? Yes there is! At least there will be soon. We’re developing it. Calling it the “Zero Carbon Coaching Clinic” for now. Partly inspired by the Pixar Process, as shown in this video:

If you haven’t, I encourage you to read “Creativity, Inc”, by Ed Catmull, the President of Pixar. It’s an enlightening book about the creative process and the importance of being candid in groups.

I love it especially because Ed’s philosophy validates the Zero Carbon Coaching Clinic approach. Can you imagine the people in your community, city, state coming together to be candid, creative and collaborative? To joyfully tackle a super wicked challenge? To hammer out the ultimate path to zero carbon and a great quality of life for all?

And it ends up being as appealing as a great Pixar movie?

That’s what we aspire to at Footprint to Wings.

Aim high, my fellow Zero Carbon Players!

And don’t just watch the video. Sign up for the coaching clinic. Be the zero carbon coach you want to see in the world.

Make sure to watch the video as soon as you can. It’s only 4 minutes+. And, while I am confident my use of the “Monsters, Inc” clips fits within Youtube’s “Fair Use” rules, you never know.

To zero carbon, and beyond!
