We have a track record of innovating. We introduced the first online energy tender platform in 1999 to enable energy users to procure energy more effectively; this software continues to this day to provide more competitive fixed prices. Suppliers tell us that we achieve prices 2% to 5% better than the traditional broker methods.

We also have a track record of winning awards. We won the Energy Broker of the Year award at the prestigious Energy Awards for 2 years running from 2015 to 2016. We also recently won the Business Service Company of The Year award and commendation for Green Business of The Year at the 2018 West London Business Awards. West London Business commented “They impressed our judges with evidence of some great initiatives saving clients millions of pounds, whilst providing solid customer service and a commitment to responsible business practice, particularly with respect to climate change.”
As well as assisting energy consumers, we also have a passion to tackle climate change hence our vision “A Carbon Free World”. It is clear that the world’s temperature is increasing at an alarming rate, irrespective of whether you believe this is as a consequence of humankind’s interference or not. We quote below an excerpt from David Wallace-Wells’ report titled “The Uninhabitable Earth”…….
“Until recently, permafrost was not a major concern of climate scientists, because, as the name suggests, it was soil that stayed permanently frozen. But Arctic permafrost contains 1.8 trillion tons of carbon, more than twice as much as is currently suspended in the Earth’s atmosphere. When it thaws and is released, that carbon may evaporate as methane, which is 34 times as powerful a greenhouse-gas warming blanket as carbon dioxide when judged on the timescale of a century; when judged on the timescale of two decades, it is 86 times as powerful. In other words, we have, trapped in Arctic permafrost, twice as much carbon as is currently wrecking the atmosphere of the planet, all of it scheduled to be released at a date that keeps getting moved up, partially in the form of a gas that multiplies its warming power 86 times over.”
David Wallace-Wells believes that we have moved past the point of no return and need to start planning to avoid our own extinction.
As a business and group of people committed to a carbon free world, we believe that the planet should transition to a world of zero carbon emissions from the consumption of energy as quickly as possible to avoid the ravages of climate change. However climate change has lost a sense of urgency since the global financial crisis of 2008. The world’s politicians have been working on regulatory solutions to the problem, notably the 2016 Paris Climate Change Agreement, although progress has been slow.
We have therefore decided to create the Zero Carbon Project which calls on the crypto-community along with all the 7.5 billion people on earth to work together to save the planet by tackling climate change. We can collectively accelerate the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions with the aim of reaching zero emissions from energy in 15 years. We can do this by simply choosing to switch our supply to zero carbon electricity and potentially save money at the same time.
The Zero Carbon Project provides simple access to cheap sources of zero carbon electricity through our global zero carbon markets. In addition, a catalyst to action is provided by rewarding consumers with valuable Energis tokens which will more than cover any extra cost of zero carbon electricity and will reward early adopters for their valuable contribution.
On a more tactical and local level, we are also working in collaboration with West London Business to reduce carbon emissions in the West London area. The aim is to reduce carbon emissions from electricity to zero by 2032 and from heat by 2050.
