Early Wednesday morning Donald Trump was elected president.

It was a troubling election for a variety of reasons.

One of which was what it forecast with regard towards women’s rights in this country.

Abortion access and bodily autonomy were key issues coming into Election Day.

Kamala Harris was fighting for the right for w9men to choose what happened to their body.

Her running mate Tim Walz, who made it a priority to protect abortion access as Minnesota’s governor, made it clear that they government had no business interfering between a women and her doctor,

It also sent a horrendous message electing a rapist as president,

Why should men fear consequences for assaulting women when you can do so and then be elected the highest office in the land?

Because things only seem to get worse this week, a horrific new saying started to spread after the election.

“Your body, my choice.”

I can’t put into words how vile a statement that is.
