ZKValidator is live on Moonriver
We are excited to announce that we are running a collator on Moonriver. Moonriver is a Kusama parachain which is fully Ethereum compatible — existing smart contracts and DApps built for Ethereum can easily be deployed in Moonriver with minimal changes. It is the sister network to the Moonbean Polkadot Parachain. Like Moonbeam, Moonriver achieves compatibility with Ethereum through the implementation of an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). As a collator on the network, amongst 40 other collators currently in the set, we are responsible for producing blocks for validators in the Kusama relay chain. Collators run a full node on Moonriver and the Kusama relay chain and provide validators in the relay chain with state transition proofs.

Since the Moonriver token has been distributed to crowdloan participants and contributors, it is now possible to nominate your MOVR tokens to collators on Moonriver and earn even more MOVR in the process. By nominating ZKValidators collator, you can also help us to support privacy and zero knowledge projects.
Nomination instructions
To nominate ZKValidator, you will need to have the Metamask extension for your browser. The minimum nomination amount is 5 MOVR, if you have at least 5 MOVR then you can follow these simple steps:
- Navigate to the Moonriver staking dashboard
2. Once you have reached the staking dashboard, you will be asked to connect your Metamask, make sure you are logged in and click on switch network when Metamask prompts.
3. Hooray! Now you are connected to Moonriver and the staking dashboard should be visible as seen below, click on select a collator.
4. A list will appear as pictured below, to nominate to ZKValidator pick the collator with the address 0x457c23d4Daa0082c5c932557CFCB38Afd6613885 (outlined in red below).
5. Once you have selected the collator address, you will see it appear in the nominate section, now all you have to do is input the amount of MOVR you want to stake. 1000 is shown simply for illustrative purposes.
6. Click nominate and you will have successfully nominated ZKValidator’s collator.
