How To Run Still Trill’s 2–3 Zone
We see quite a few 2–3 zone teams in 2K — it’s a simple, fundamental defense that’s easily teachable. Most of us learned our spacing back in grade school.
What differentiates Still Trill is their amoeba approach, pushing TimelyCook’s Lockdown Defender build as a one-man full-court-press. He’s playing 94 foot defense against opposing team’s Playmakers, then falling back into that 2-guard front. His backcourt-mate Dimez knows to slide behind TimelyCook depending on which way he forces the ball down the floor. In an interview w/ 2KTV, TimelyCook emphasized his main focus is making the opposition uncomfortable, taking them out of their sets.
