Welcome to issue №6 of the Zero Weekly Newsletter!
This week has been an interesting week with the news that we will be listed on QIEX, our first exchange since the recent community takeover. QIEX is a new Hong Kong based exchange that reached out to us, offering a free listing to go with our thorough application.
There have been a few other coin listings this week on QIEX, which is really good to see, and hopefully we can all grow mutually with this young exchange. We don’t yet have a confirmed date for listing 100% just yet, but will know more in the next week and a bit.
Cryptoforge has also been busy this week with a new node update for Windows which has been quite a feat in itself setting the stage for our future endeavours. There is a lot of preparation work going on in the background that we are priming for the next stages of Zero.
You may have seen in the Discord and also Telegram chats that we are seeking information on who is mining with what, who has a node, and other infrastructure related queries. We have something cooking in the background, so this information is greatly appreciated, and we thank you for being so forthcoming with it.

As Cryptoforge pointed out in the community chat recently, we do monitor the page to get a feel for where the community is at each day, and observe (or action if we can) every suggestion and or constructive criticism accordingly. But please continue to log your suggestions in Discord so they can be stored in an appropriate forum other than Telegram (where the conversation can get lost within minutes or hours due to discussion volumes).

(Note for new comers — please bear in mind that at this point in time Zero relies solely on donations from the community as there was no pre-mine or ICO with this coin originally. We are working to implement a dev fee, so please read further and watch this space. Every person involved with Zero — inclusive of the dev team — are volunteering their time and efforts to the project)
For anyone interested in investing — please do your own research prior to committing to any project, and we ask you to please not blindly commit to a project because someone else told you to.

Windows Wallet (Zero Simple Wallet)
Now released!
Web Wallet
The API is being worked on as we speak, which will allow us to integrate some of our already-existing, but not officially released deliverables.
Mobile Wallet
The mobile wallet is the last of the deliverables that are to be officially released, but on hand already. In order to offer a fully tested, secure wallet, we will be implementing our own Insight API to integrate with the applicable wallets. We wouldn’t release something until we are fully happy and comfortable with it, and hope that you can respect these actions too.
Arizen & Electrum Wallets
Works underway.
Note — In terms of tutorials for our new suite of wallets, Ingar and Rick will have some handy helping points available shortly for a clear and concise approach to running the wallets. This is great to have as the community organically increases, and we can all no doubt pick up some great information from this initiative.
General & Developer Funding
Very short and sweet on this one, and works still progressing with Tearo on this one. Perhaps this may have had to do with some of the queries we put out to the community a couple of days ago……
Humour aside though, this is the biggest ticket item on our radars. The Dev fee will be the roots of Zero, so we need to ensure that we are well and truly versed and prepared for this to save multiple forks in future.
Marketing
We really need the community to assist where possible in the marketing realm as there is no funded marketing budget just yet as we rely on donations at this point in time (watch this space).

Listings on Exchanges
Although we have now been privileged enough to have been given a free listing on an exchange in its early days as we are, we still have not taken the sights off of some paid listing exchanges.
Please feel free to donate to our exchanges donation wallet, if we can make it to 1.5 BTC in this particular wallet, we will be super close to listing on an exchange that has a great reputation that we have been dealing with for a few weeks now.
We have the fundamentals, but just need the funding.
But we can’t do it without your donations, so again, every bit of Zero counts!
(Fun Fact — The pricing requirements range from a mixture of ZER and BTC, through to the straight up costs from others from 1 BTC to 7 BTC, just for some clarity on this one)
