Colombia’s Artrade Second NFT Drop on the Zeromint NFT Marketplace

Pegatina Criolla is the second Artrade artist to drop NFTs on Zeromint.

RENO, NV / BOGOTA, COLOMBIA — November 4, 2021 — Artrade.co’s next artist to drop NFTs in the Zeromint NFT Marketplace will be renowned Colombian illustrator and designer Pegatina Criolla. Artrade’s first drop was conducted by Andres Kal, a visual artist from Bogotá, whose work continues to be featured on Zeromint.

“Mañerismo Criollo”, Pegatina Criolla

Pegatina, a self-taught artist, creates imaginary worlds through the use of stains and collage. For the past 15 years, Pegatina has developed a body of work that he named “mañerismo criollo”, combining Creole images in which new characters originate through layers of paint that are loaded with symbolism and self-expression. Pegatina’s work have been featured in TV and fashion collections from brands such as Vans. In 2019, during Pegatina’s “Mañé Criollo” tour, Pegatina’s work was featured for 32 days in various European cities including Barcelona, Paris, Berlin, Milano, Toulouse, and Marsella. Pegatina’s 1st NFT drop will consist of three editions:

• Subway — Edition of 10. The streets, the subway trains; every wall becomes a canvas and art emerges as people pass by.
• Pajas — Edition of 10. Catchy banana, catchy art… or, Is it even art?
• NOART — Edition of 10. To be or not to be; to believe or not in art.
