Bleeding Before A Temple

The bells rang-

A warning or a call?

She froze,

Yet again

In front of the dwaarpaalas

Welcoming her or keeping her out?

Can she pray?

God held the answers

And Yet,

“Gods” held her back

Succumb to the orthodox,

Or, rebel to pray?

It all boiled down,

To that one step-

A step back home,

Or, a step inside the Temple?

Courage or Blood?

What was it she bled?
