The Triumph is Yours

I want you to take this seriously for me and do it just once. Slow down and take a break. Are you with me? Ok, don’t move. Stay still. Slowly, sink within the deep waters of yourself. (Just… just do it, alright!). Now try to find those things called ‘negative thoughts’ inside you. Unleash them. Let them scorch yourself from within so that you can scream on them. What do they look like? What size? What colour? Which hue? How do the shadows move? Feel ’em, endure ’em, embrace ’em. Just keep your cool and observe them without being driven off. In no time you’ll see how petty and naive they seem, how easy it is to let them go if you don’t want them, OR, keep them if you want to be a player. (*Evil smile*) If you honestly did this, you’ll see the slight difference between now and what you were five minutes ago. You are slightly lesser a pessimist and more, a machinist! (I know, sometimes I’m amazed at myself!)

You probably contemplate sometimes, “Had I been a good dancer, musician, singer, littérateur, movie star, I would achieve so much in life”. You must have. I mean, why not? At least I had. There is a fifth dimension of probability space. Life would have been quite different from what actually is today. Ever felt insecure, frustrated or confounded with all those weird technological stuff that really don’t get into your head no matter how hard you try, but rather get on your nerve? A technical student of technical campus surely has. Conditions prove to be vulnerable based on your perspective. Trust me, you can’t help yourself if you are to remain an introvert your entire life. There is nothing wrong in being ‘down to the ground’ in any subject you don’t have expertise in. If you don’t know it, just freakin’ admit it to yourself. And then ask for help. There surely is someone who can provide some help. Never feel ashamed to inquire. There is NO shame in expanding your knowledge. If you keep telling yourself I don’t need help, I’m sorry but you are in course of turning into a pathetic piece of crap. Really sorry for the obscenity and violations of magazine T&Cs; I can be amicably friendly unless I see your timidity dominating yourself.

In the early days, we used to cry our asses out (that’s all we could do) just to avoid going to the damn school, not mature enough to know the reason to go to school. Humans are evolved animals, but animals nevertheless, and it is in any young creature’s nature to avoid the dangers of the bigger world and stay safe. Childish behaviors are replete in the child. But that has to pass one day, it simply has to! You are no more a child. (I am quite curious to say something but I’m constantly getting off my track. Need to be serious now!)

As you might have anticipated after going to school for some time, you would be a qualified person one day. If you thoroughly passed with good score, you would be an excellent graduate (At least engineering students wish for clean pass. Who cares about good scores?! Just an opinion, though). You made a childlike aspiration to turn into a gentleman with sufficient money to buy everything you want and live a respected life doing what you thought was cool then. Maybe it was fed into you. But I dare you, I double dare you to ever be satisfied with your employment and salary. No amount is enormous or enough. I picturize business tycoons as helpless, desperate addicts who are obsessed to gather more and more, larger enough that they can manage to make. (I’m being this brazen based on the fact that Bill Gates isn’t probably reading this. I will be graduating soon as a computer engineer and would really love it if I ever got his appointment though! Hypocrite alert!)

“Always stay satisfied.” I personally DON’T recommend you that. I know we all are lazy bones. But once you get out of that comfort zone, you’ll be amazed with the colors you never knew existed. Try something stupid. Do pranks. Make fun of others, scaring them but with humane care. Sometimes go cheeky like teenagers. Don’t show respect to someone who constantly seek for it. Some of you are probably thinking about professors when you just read this. Unfortunately, there are things like ‘Recommendation letters’ which could make things complicated and life harder!

Try to be a leader. Make group of people of 4 or more. Prepare some speech. Deliver it to them. Your leadership quality is measured by the influence of your thoughts. (Make sure you don’t sound stupid. People won’t let stupidity go without being ridiculed.)

Get caught for your notoriety and get it widely publicized. You will have great time in your life. Get arrested if you can, but keep caution not to get involved in harsh crimes. It’s never good to be known for harming something/someone. Make some stories worth telling keeping a clean police record.

All in all be courageous and confident. Speak confidently without any hesitation. Choose the words that clearly express your opinions and say them any way you want; damn care your grammar. (I had proofreading done on this article before publishing it. My grammar are shitty, by the way. <Yeah, the proofreader wrote that!>)

Mainstream culture has been running in this world since the dawn of lifeform. It’s always better if you have plans for rough roads. Establish the principles you think define your soul. Overstep the state of affairs you encounter. Try things your own way. Navigate your own path. Walk the roads less traveled and leave a trail behind. (Bear Grylls said that.) You will find yourself undaunted. Befriend those who you think can make you complete. Discover and recognize every part of yourself. Don’t always be penitent on your deeds. S#!t happens, man! Nothing is flawless. Life isn’t a smooth sphere, it’s as rough as the seabed. Let them call you a maniac but what’s important is for you to know that you are not ashamed of yourself. You will realize that you are luminous and the triumph IS yours.
