WHERE IS HOME?

In a bus, an old woman so sweet,
Offered a seat, made my heart complete.
Home is where affection takes a seat,
A gesture so warm, a moment so neat.

A friend, long lost, in silence we lay,
Sat all day, catching up on life's array.
Silent moments, words unsaid,
Home is where shared memories are bred.

In a busy streets, a stranger's hand,
Guided me safely, helped me understand.
Home is found in a helping guide,
Crossing roads with someone by your side.

Escaping in pages where tales unfold
As wondrous worlds stories told
Lost in the beauty that books can bring
Home is where imagination sings.

In a park, a baby's hug so tight,
Didn't let go, pure joy in that light.
Home is where hugs linger on,
In the embrace of love, never gone.

Crowded street, my little brother near,
Caught my sweater, a bond so dear.
Home is family in the bustling crowd,
A small touch speaking volumes aloud.

In hospital corridors, a loved one's bed,
Long nights of worry, words left unsaid.
Shared glances spoke of pain and fear,
Home is where love wipes away each tear.

Amidst the chaos of a city's rush,
A homeless soul found solace in a hush.
A warm meal shared, a simple delight,
Home is where kindness conquers the night.

In a school play, my brother took the stage,
Nervous excitement, a moment's gauge.
Applause echoed, dreams taking flight,
Home is where encouragement ignites.

On a cold night, my hands turned icy blue,
As the wind whipped, chilling right through.
A friend gently cupped them, warming them slow,
In selfless compassion, home's warmth I know.
