What is POAP?
Proof Of Attendance Protocol (POAP), pronounced as poh-ap, is a software system that allows people to collect badges, in the form of an NFT, whenever they participate in an activity, call, seminar, etc. in-person or digitally. It’s a way that event organizers use to distribute crypto-badges (ERC-721 tokens) to people who join their events.
As a collector, POAPs allow you to record your life’s experiences.
How to Claim POAP?
There are various ways by which you can claim your POAP based on how they are distributed.
We will cover how you can claim your POAP via the website or claim codes provided by Zeroswap after the events:
Step 1: Go to the Website provided: POAP.website/{website_name}
(The website_name will change after each event)
Step 2: Enter your Ethereum address, ENS name, or Email address (to reserve the POAP so you can claim it at a later time)
Step 3: You can mint it for free using the xDai network (pre-selected option) or directly mint it on the Mainnet (Gas fees applicable)
Step 4: Hit the “Claim POAP token” button
And you are done. It’s that simple!
