Like most young professionals, all of our plans came to a standstill last year. Since then, we have been working on the drawing board trying to analyze where the industry is headed this decade. After a year of research, we think we have the answer. And we are here to tell you all about it through our blogs.

We are creating this platform to educate and inform students and young professionals, to help them navigate through the current challenges. We also realize that the communication gap between homeowners and designers is immense. Thus, this blog will serve as a medium to bridge that distance through a universal language, and by covering shared interests.

We are here to create a forum, a shared voice, to reorganize our profession as a forward-looking community, with a shared vision to respond to the conditions that will present themselves to us, post-COVID.

Zeyka, the People

If this pandemic has taught us anything, it is that we are in this together. We cannot achieve sustainable growth alone.

This lesson is completely the opposite to the belief we are inculcated with, by our architecture and interior design colleges, that design happens in isolation. We are here to change that.

And to be able to do that, we are making our information open-source. We want our research, consulting, and tools to be shared from one person to another, without any barriers.

The only true loss is if we come out of this on the other side, unchanged. And we are here to do our bit, but to convince you to do it with us, together.

Zeyka, the Place

Beyond the limits of an outdated syllabus and opaque professional practices, is where true work happens, where useful knowledge is created. We are trying to capture that, to add value to all stakeholders of this vast industry.​

This information isn’t found in classrooms or construction sites alone, or any more in the physical world than it is found in the digital media. Nothing is mutually exclusive for us.

This blog is a medium, a passing between all other mediums. You’ll find us, in time, increasingly, wherever you go, and wherever you want to take us with you — in your phone, or your web, or email, or social media, or the marketplace, or the workplace, or your home — wherever possible.
