The Genesis Ziggy Mint is Coming This August 30th & 31st!
You heard it right. The Genesis Ziggy mint is nearly here, and the Ziggyverse team is ready to unleash 5,000 Genesis Ziggys, 4,000 of which will be available to mint in the whitelist and public launch. Apart from offering a totally unique look with each Genesis Ziggy, they also come with extra utility and benefits too, both in the Ziggyverse game and outside of it.
What exactly is a Genesis Ziggy?
The genesis collection is the first Ziggy collection for early adopters. Genesis Ziggys are considered both an in-game and a PFP (profile picture) collection. This is an opportunity for players to become Ziggy! Genesis Ziggys are based on the main character of the lore, Captain Ziggy, and consist of a collection of generative, unique astronauts with hundreds of traits, meaning no two Ziggys look the same.
Genesis Ziggy are all personally created by our team artists, Star-Lord and R2-D2. This collection has been a 6-month long artistic adventure exploring the different alternate universes of Captain Ziggy.
What utility do you get from a Genesis Ziggy?
Each Genesis Ziggy is both a collectible and an in-game utility-NFT for the Ziggyverse game.
A Genesis Ziggy’s utility enables the holder to have:
- Bonus EXP: When players take part in battles or complete missions while owning a Genesis Ziggy, they’ll gain bonus experience points.
- Bonus LEEKS rewards: Similar to EXP, players also gain LEEKS for certain in-game activities. With a Genesis Ziggy, you’ll earn even more. You can find out more about LEEKS in our Ziggyverse economy article.
- Rental Opportunities: The Ziggyverse is a P2E game. It is a competitive monster battle arena, where users can earn BNB, POTS, stablecoins, and NFTs. The Ziggyverse has an in-game guild mechanic which allows you to rent out your team and Genesis Ziggy to scholars while you sit back and collect rewards passively. These rewards grow your Ziggymon and allow you to earn BNB, POTS, Stablecoins, and NFTs prizes.
- In-Game Battle Emojis: Having a Genesis Ziggy allows a player to use in-battle emojis to talk to their adversary
- Staking: Before the game’s release, the Ziggyverse team will release a Genesis staking mechanic. More details will be provided shortly.
Mint Details
The Genesis Ziggy mint has two portions; The Whitelist Mint & Public Mint. Being whitelisted for the Genesis Ziggy mint offers you a discount. To gain a whitelist spot, you’ll need to ensure your wallet has been qualified at least once. The Whitelist Mint will take place on the 30th of August @ 2 PM UTC.
The Public Mint + Reveal will begin on the 31st of August @ 2 PM UTC.
Genesis Ziggys will be unrevealed for 24 hours during the Whitelist mint.

Mint incentives
Aside from having in and out-of-game utility, the Ziggyverse team is also offering a set of exciting mint incentives.
- For every 250 Genesis Ziggys minted, $250 will be bought back in $POTS and airdropped to 5 Genesis Ziggy minters ($50 each). For example, five different Genesis Ziggys between ID #1 and #250 will be selected, and the wallets which minted those 5 Genesis Ziggy will be airdropped $50 of $POTS! This will keep going in 250 Genesis Ziggy increments until the collection is sold out.
- Once sold out, a portion of the sale will go into buying back $POTS to create a lottery that is accessible to those with Genesis Ziggys. You’ll be able to stake your Genesis Ziggy while you wait for the game to release and each day there will be a $50 $POTS prize given out.
- If the collection sells out within 48 hours, the Ziggyverse team will buy back $5000 worth of $POTS and inject it into the next Ziggy’s Pot prize!
- For all Whitelist minters, for every 3 Genesis Ziggy you hold you’ll get one free bundle!
