How to add contract-swapped ZIG to Ledger Nano (ERC20 Network)
Hello Ziggys,
In light of the recent Ascendex hack where 22,000,000+ ZIG coins were transferred out of the AscendEX Hot wallet — we updated the ZIG coin contract, leaving stolen tokens worthless. Further, we shared a step-by-step guide to adding the Updated ZIG token to Metamask- and those of you Hodling ZIG on Ledger Nano asked for a similar guide which we’ll be sharing now. Please note that the Token contract address has changed permanently, which is now:
0xb2617246d0c6c0087f18703d576831899ca94f01
To add the updated ZIG coin to Ledger Nano, follow these steps:
Step 1: While your hardware wallet is connected, open MyEtherwallet, and tap on ‘Settings’ > ‘Contract addresses’ > ‘Add’ (While you’re here, remove the old ZIG contract by tapping ‘Edit’ > ‘Remove’)
Step 2: Populate the inputs on the following page:
Address: 0xb2617246d0c6c0087f18703d576831899ca94f01
Nick name: ZIG
Step 3: Tap ‘Confirm & Add’
Once done importing the new token, you should be able to see it in the asset list. That’s it, you have your swapped ZIG coin in your Ledger Nano ERC20 wallet. 😃
Happy Hodling! 🚀
