Add a Token from CoinMarketCap
- Go to the Coinmarketcap page for the token you want to add. We will use Ziktalk for this example.
- Find the ETH contract address under the social media and whitepaper section.
- Click the MetaMask logo.
- Click import and the token will be added with the Ziktalk logo
How to add New Tokens Manually
1. Set up Metamask wallet as a Chrome browser extension. You can find more installation details on their website: https://metamask.io/
2.If you open your account page, you can see two tabs. Among them, you should click on the ‘Assets’ tab. Then, click on the ‘Import token’ button at the bottom of this page.
3.Next you will need to search for the specific token you want to add. You will need to click on ‘Custom Token’ and enter ‘Token Contract Address’. If you enter the address, ‘Token symbol’ and ‘Decimals of Precision’ will be filled automatically.

4. Once you enter the correct address, you can see ZIK token. Click on the ‘Import tokens’ button and then the token will be shown in your assets in Metamask wallet.
5. Once this page will be shown, it means that token is added successfully!
Adding new tokens to your Metamask wallet is very simple task and an important one to make sure you can track your assets easily. Make sure you always are aware what sites you give access to your wallet and practice safe internet usage.
