Ziktalk x University of Indonesia Korean Fair Webinar Recap

Hello Ziktalkers,

Ziktalk is delighted to have successfully collaborated with University of Indonesia and their annual Korean Fair event. Yoo Ra Han, Ziktalk’s Chief Communications Officer, spoke on behalf of the Ziktalk team, introducing Ziktalk to the audience, and gave her valuable insights regarding her career journey in Korea and Indonesia to 290 participants.

With “Career and Korea“ as the official theme for the webinar, which was moderated by Alira, a Korea University alumna, both Yoo Ra and the other guest Rubina shared their uplifting stories and tips and answered questions the students had about pursuing a career internationally, especially in South Korea. Yoo Ra started off by sharing her childhood and adolescent years as someone who experienced major cultural differences growing up in Indonesia as a Korean and how she overcame her hardships. Yoo Ra also had the chance to introduce Ziktalk to the students, and since the event, we’ve seen nice growth in our Instagram community. We’d like to extend a warm welcome to our newest community members!

As a global networking platform, Ziktalk bridges the gap between language learners and native speakers around the world. With that being said, we hope to be the go-to platform when it comes to learning and practicing Korean and other languages for our new community members.

We thank the Korean Fair team and participants for allowing us meet the community, and we can’t wait to share more of what we have planned in the near future.
