The promising content creators will spend six months learning new concepts, collaborating and refining their news ventures

Ten emerging content creators from around Zimbabwe have been selected to be part of the inaugural Entrepreneurial Journalism Training and Mentorship Program run by the Zimbabwe Centre for Media and Information Literacy in collaboration with the Department of Journalism and Media Studies at the National University of Science and Technology.

The six-months program, the first of its kind in Zimbabwe, empowers promising journalism and media creators to develop local sites, newsletters, podcasts and YouTube Channels, and other journalism products, into sustainable niche news ventures serving local communities.

The program is supported by a grant from the U.S Embassy Public Affairs Section in Harare.
