The objective of Zinc being used as an official dApp at ETHBerlin is for attendees to take proofs of what they’ve learnt and achieved over the weekend home with them. Zinc will be deploying mainnet ERC725 identities & ENS subdomains to the ETHBerlin participants. Kick-off their decentralised reputation by adding work claims their Web3 identity this weekend.

Steps for workshop instructors

Providing “work proofs” to your workshop attendees

  1. Sign-up to (https://zinc.work/) with LinkedIn or Metamask. If you use Metamask, you must connect your LinkedIn account in order to provide a ‘work proof’. You can sign-in through Metamask and then connect LinkedIn from your account page (bottom left of profile) afterward.

I have my 725 & ENS subdomain, what shall I do now?

Your ENS subdomain is acting as the management key for your 725 contract. Your personal ERC725 contract is deployed on the main Ethereum network — you control. You can add/remove keys to the contract — since currently you can only interact with your ENS subdomain’s associated keys. Or you can add/remove identity claims to your new identity!

  1. You may wish to change the set of keys pointing to your ENS subdomain. Set a resolver for your subdomain, so you can receive funds at this address. Or you can reverse resolve the record for your ENS subdomain to be visible on other compatible dApps. Read more here: http://docs.ens.domains/en/latest/userguide.html?highlight=subdomains
