Taking a Minute to Stop…and Breathe Life

It’s hard to believe that October is almost over and 2020 is just around the corner. Where did the time go? 2019 to date has been a whirlwind of activity and progress at Breathe Life, so we are taking a quick break to look back at everything we’ve accomplished this year.

  • We’ve built momentum with insurance carries across North America in 2019, and we’re quickly becoming the insurance industry’s enterprise commerce platform of choice for driving new business.

National Bank of Canada was the first to deploy Breathe Life’s API-driven Enterprise Commerce Platform with La Capitale Insurance and Financial Services and Viaction Assurance going live shortly thereafter. In fact, we have a number of additional North American carriers deploying the Breathe Life platform and will be announcing details of these engagements over the next few months, so please stay tuned.

  • We’ve attracted A-List investors including Diagram Ventures and Real Ventures, as well as former executives from AXA Global and RGA US. So far this year we’ve secured $7 Million CAD to aggressively pursue our mission to protect families around the world.

  • We’ve continued to build out our API-driven platform using advanced analytics and AI to help carriers sell more policies through advisors, direct or anywhere in between. We’ve made too many updates to detail here, but there is one unique feature of our platform that is particularly interesting to our customers.

A Single View of the Customer: Customers often have many touchpoints with a brand that are often across disparate systems, making it hard to get a complete picture of where they are in the buying process. The Breathe Life platform unifies customer data into a single view of the customer, streamlining the buying experience for advisors and consumers.

  • We’ve grown! Over the past year, the Breathe Life team has more than doubled from 15 to 35 and moved to larger office space in the Old Port of Montréal. And we’re still hiring! Check out our open positions here: https://boards.greenhouse.io/breathelife.

There is a seismic shift underway in the insurance industry as more carriers recognize the benefits of partnering with technology experts to solve business-critical challenges and this is great news for Breathe Life.
